Reflective Writing: Web Presence
My web presence through social networking sites depicts me as a fun-loving college student. However, I try to retain a sense of intellect and class in my postings. Like many people, I use my web presence to meet new people, stay in touch with friends and express myself and my opinions. The dominant images that are often expressed in my web presence are my friends and the fun things that we do. My photo album contains many pictures of activities that participate in, showing how involved my friends are in my life. I appeal to other people my age because my postings and my interests are similar to most people my age. I think people my age can easily relate to me because of my fun-loving demeanor and my interesting way that I express myself. I also believe that adults react positively to my web presence because of the intellectual and classy way I portray myself. I believe in the future I can use my web presence to draw people in because of the warmth I exude and because of my honesty and integrity that people can sense through the way I present myself on the web.
